I have a passion for painting and my goal is always to reflect my love for creating in my work.  It's variety that makes a painting beautiful, variety in brush strokes, thick and thin paint, soft and hard edges, and most importantly the use of color.  I think about and plan for all of these long before the brush touches the canvas and I am always on the hunt for subjects that allow these elements to shine.  When all my plans begin  to come together in the final stages of a painting I get pretty excited.  Some paintings practically paint themselves while others need a little coaxing, but they all are expressions of the people,  places, and things I love.  It is with great pleasure and my honor to share these paintings with you.
